CME Program conducted in Kano, Lagos and Abuja

One of the Doctors asked our CEO what is the aim and goal of Anavara. Our CEO succinctly replied that we look forward to Nigeria developing as a country where people come in for medical treatment. The country is the largest in terms of GDP and population in Africa. It has leaders in the entertainment industry and in the oil and gas sector. Why it cannot be a leader in Medical Treatment?

Glad to have conducted 3 Continuing Medical Education programs in Nigeria. Here is the first one on Kano. Well attended by more than 120 Doctors including from Aminu Kanu teaching hospital. We were very lucky to have Dr.Benedict raj who inspired and captivated the audience with his incisive speech. But then would you expect anything less from a person who has done more than 7000 cardiac procedures?

The following were the topics of the CME program.

Prof M.O.Asani:Challenges in diagnosis & treatment of congenital hearts disease in developing countries.

Dr.Abba Yusuf Aminu:Blood conservation in pediatric cardiac surgery

The second CME was conducted in Abuja at NAF convention centre where we were joined by Director of medical services of Navy Rear Admiral Dr.Yusuf, NNPC medical Director Dr. Musa Shaibu and personnel from Air Force, Military and other departments. Dr. Oyotunde who is our mentor did a wonder job managing the program.
