She grew up in Abu Dhabi and received all her initial schooling in Abu Dhabi till she left for Pakistan in 1998 for pursuing medical education. Hence, she is well acquainted with the cultural background and norms of the UAE and has deep affiliation with the country as her first home.

After gaining her MBBS Degree in 2003, she proceeded for Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiology – all from reputed medical institutes in Pakistan. She worked as a member of the Faculty in the Department of Cardiology at the Post Graduate Medical Institute of Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, one of the foremost and largest hospitals in the region.

Over the years, Dr. Noor gained a wide spectrum of expertise and experience in the treatment of cardio-vascular diseases and interventional cardiology procedures. She also took a keen interest in medical education and research, and is well published in multiple peer-reviewed journals. She has been formally trained and accredited as a Supervisor for Cardiology Fellowship program of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan. Hence, while she held the Faculty positions of Senior Registrar and Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Lady Reading Hospital, she was involved in the teaching and training of Fellows in Cardiology.

Moving back to the UAE, Dr. Lubna Noor joined Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and worked with a team of more than 40 highly qualified cardiovascular physicians and earned high reputation for her knowledge, skills and work ethics. Her accomplishments and evidence-based practices are great assets for Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, as she joins the medical team here, in her current career position.

Dr Noor has a special interest in the pattern of heart diseases in women. In her initiative for “WOMEN HEART HEALTH”, she specially focuses on reducing the chances of heart diseases in women through a preventive approach, including state-of-the art screening and advanced testing. This is a unique practice to treat and prevent heart disease while addressing the distinct concerns of each individual woman. Special areas of focus also include pregnancy and menopause related cardiac issues. Her clinic will emphasize on tailoring recommendations for individual healthy lifestyle and through education/counselling will be given for prevention or slowing of heart diseases in women.
