Sharon was educated in the UK and completed her first degree in Medical Biology in 2003. After discovering a passion for healthcare, she joined Moorfields Eye Hospital London, specialising in electrophysiology of the eye and where she developed a particular interest in working with children and young adults. This led to her second degree in Clinical Orthoptics, Graduating with honours in 2009.

Following graduation, Sharon started to practice Orthoptics as a member of the team of highly specialist Ophthalmologists, at Guys and St Thomas’, London. The experience she acquired in assessing such a diverse and complex range of patients enabled Sharon to develop expertise in investigating, diagnosing and managing both adult and paediatric patients with complex ocular motility, neuro-ophthalmic and binocular deficits. Sharon also has a strong interest in clinical teaching leading to her becoming clinical tutor for undergraduate clinical education.

Sharon joined the Orthoptics team at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai in 2014, where her experience in Orthoptics and Electro-diagnostics has allowed her to apply her unique clinical perspective and expertise.
