​The embassy advises not to finalise travel arrangements to UAE before obtaining visa. UAE has one of the most liberal visa policies.

Visa fees are non-refundable and subject to change. The embassy reserves the right of deciding the duration of visa irrespective of the fees tendered at the time of making application.

​Documentation Required:      

Ahead of any appointments, please ensure that you have fulfilled all the requirements needed to complete the visa application, as these have been updated.

Your sponsor will be notified when your application is ready for the interview stage in the visa service centre, where it will be necessary to present the following documents in order to complete successfully:

  1. A valid passport for 6 months or longer from the intended date of travel

  2. An invitation letter from the sponsor

  3. A medical test certificate from any of the approved medical centres (please see below for further details)

  4. Visa fees

Medical centres have been approved in Nigeria to carry out medical tests and provide certificates, these represent an essential requirement in your visa application, and should be obtained before booking an appointment and/or visiting the centre.

Normal time taken to issue visa:

​It takes anywhere between 1 to 7 days by the embassy to issue a medical visa to undertake travel to Dubai  for treatment.
